The McDowell Camp and Conference Center is a ministry of the Episcopal Churches in the Diocese of Alabama and is open to all. With over 1,140 acres and 834 beds, McDowell is one of the largest Episcopal Camp and Conference Centers in the U.S. Relocated in 1947, McDowell borders the edge of the Bankhead National Forest in Winston County, Alabama, and consists of breathtaking canyons, waterfalls, forests, and is known as the Beautiful Queen of Clear Creek. Miles of hiking trails, glistening streams, comfortable lodging, and large meeting areas makes us an ideal venue for groups both small and large.

Lodging choices:  Participants will have the option to stay in a lodge room. Our lodge rooms each have two queen beds and a private bath that opens onto a common living space (shared by other participants) with refrigerator, coffee maker, stove, microwave, and fireplace. You may book a private room for one or share a room with your spouse, partner, or friend. 

We are working to open more DOUBLE occupancy rooms. Please email wonderful@campmcdowell.org to check availability. 

If lodging off campus you MUST register for the day pass to join meals. 

Registering Multiple Individuals: Please choose the "Add Guest" option to register multiple individuals. The "Single Occupancy" rate is the cost for one person in the room. The "Double Occupancy" rate is the cost for one individual in a room with two people. 

Please note: Once a registration has been made, it cannot be edited. Please ensure that all attendee information is correct upon the first submission. Please contact Camp McDowell for changes. 

All payments are processed through PayPal or sent via check. You may use a credit card to pay this way without making a Paypal account. Please make checks payable to Camp McDowell and send to 105 Delong Rd, Nauvoo, AL, 35578.
