  • How to protect children and staff
  • Child friendly tools to explain and reinforce infection control (handwashing, masks, cough/sneeze etiquette)
  • Procedures for ill children and staff

  Colleen Schultz, M.Ed., RN CSN is the Director of the Division of School Health for the Pennsylvania Department of Health with a decade of experience in school nursing focusing on the K-5 population.  Colleen is a Certified School Nurse and has a Masters in Health Education from Penn State. She has presented to both small and large groups on a variety of heath topics including handwashing/infection control, nutrition, and dental hygiene. Colleen currently resides in Gettysburg, PA with her husband and two daughters.

Amy Requa, CRNP,CPNP-PC, Senior Health Manager, PA Key

Amy Requa is a board certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care and the Senior Health Manager for The Pennsylvania Key, in support of Pennsylvania’s Office of Child Development and Early Learning.  Amy has 20+ years of experience in public and community health nursing, leading award-winning early childhood health promotion initiatives at the national level for the Office of Head Start. Amy has expertise in building cross-sector relationships and collaboration between early learning programs and the medical, dental, behavioral health, and social services communities. Amy is dedicated to eliminating health disparities and addressing social determinants of health for underserved populations.
