February CERT Training
The 20 hour program is conducted over the course of two weekends:
•February 8 – 8:30am to 5pm
•February 9 - 8:30am to 4:15pm
•February 15 – 8:30am to 4pm
Please wear comfortable shoes (no flip flops or high heels) and long pants. The CERT program is broken up into nine units. Many of the units will be hands-on learning including fire extinguisher use and basic first aid. The program is free and you will receive a kit (backpack, multi-purpose tool, vest, and helmet) before the final simulation.
You will get an hour break for lunch. Please feel free to bring your lunch. You are also welcome to bring any liquids or snacks you may want.
Because space is limited, please do not register unless you can attend ALL days. If you can't, be kind and let someone else take your spot.
