WRHSAC presents: Communications 101 

The Western Region Homeland Security Advisory Council presents:

Comm 101 - an Introduction to Communications and Interoperability in Western Massachusetts

Topics to include

• History of communications
• Communications theory
• Use of regional and statewide systems, including WMLEC
• Available communications assets
• and more

There will be hands on training with radios, communications asset demos, and case studies. There will be special guest speakers, informative presentations and question & answer periods.  

Students are requested to bring their portable radio to class.

This training is geared towards anyone that uses a radio, from entry level first responders to chief officers, in all disciplines and jurisdictions in Western Massachusetts.
