The 2011 WTC/Mt. SAC Phase 1 Throws Clinic

Thanks to Coaches Ron Kamaka and Doug Todd and Mt. San Antonio College, the WTC will be holding its first annual Mt. SAC Phase 1 Clinic Sunday, April 10th.  We look forward to having a great Throwers' Event.  What a great way to fine-tune your preparation and take that next step to a Personal Record!  We will be teaching drills that you can do throughout your season to stay sharp as well as coaching full throws in the afternoon sessions to help bring your throwing form to its peak.  Also, this is a great opportunity to try Hammer Throw and Javelin for the first time!

Coaches Include:

John Godina - Four-Time World Champion and Olympic Medalist

Mike Curry - Hammer Specialist

Nick Garcia - Notre Dame Sherman Oaks Throws and Strength Coach

Ed Ieremia-Stansbury - UCLA All-American, Owner - Next Level Sports, Former Houston Texan

Bill Godina - Coached 30 State Champions, Coached 2 World Championship Team Members, 4 World Championship Gold Medals

The price is $85 per person (both athletes and coaches) until April 3rd.  Groups of five or more should contact Ed Ieremia-Stansbury at 949-373-6879 or estansbury@next-level-sports.net to be registered at a discount..

Attending athletes and coaches should bring throwing shoes, implements and a medium weight medicine ball for drills.  A signed WTC waiver (signed by parents if the athlete is under 18) is mandatory for physical participation.  Please also being a note pad to record your work as video cameras are not permitted.

Thanks!  We look forward to seing you all in Walnut.
