The Empowerment Summit offers our community a great opportunity to see firsthand the power of the mind to overcome the fear of labels of disease with courage and absolute determination. Lori will take us on a journey to the top of Mt. Everest and as we experience the spirit that carried a woman living wtih MS to the upper limits, defying all odds, defying her doctors prognosis and accomplishing what few people have attempted.

ore Than a Mountain

More Than a Mountain

Just Released! More Than a Mountain contains personal heartwarming and inspirational stories from our teammates with PD and MS as well as their climbing companions, medical team and expedition leader Lori Schneider.

"Each and every one of the Leap of Faith climbers summited far more than a 19,000 foot peak. The intimate stories of determination, fear and faith shared are a testament that engaging in life requires a leap of faith taken by each climber to define life rather than let a disease or condition define their lives." Cheryl Siefert, Executive Director Parkinson Association of the Rockies
