Just Released! More Than a Mountain contains personal heartwarming and inspirational stories from our teammates with PD and MS as well as their climbing companions, medical team and expedition leader Lori Schneider.
"Each and every one of the Leap of Faith climbers summited far more than a 19,000 foot peak. The intimate stories of determination, fear and faith shared are a testament that engaging in life requires a leap of faith taken by each climber to define life rather than let a disease or condition define their lives." Cheryl Siefert, Executive Director Parkinson Association of the Rockies

International Speaker Lori Schneider will take us on a journey up Mt. Everest "Climbing Beyond our Limits"
This is more than a climbing adventure, it is a story of facing, scaling and conquering the obstacles we all face in our individual lives and climbing beyond our own preconceived limitations. Lori Schneider, a woman that defied labels of disease, disability and a discouraging prognosis and climbed the highest summit on each continent.
Multiple Sclerosis - Parkinson's disease - Spasticity - Dystonia - Stroke
You will also hear personal accounts from John and Martha Carlin. John has Parkinson's disease and lives in Colorado. Martha and John have been battling PD for over a decade with a blend of eastern and western medicine. Lori, John, Martha, Dr. Giroux and Sierra climbed Africa's highest peak, Mt. Kilimanjaro with 13 others that have Parkinson's or MS.
