After a successful, inspiring, and educational trip to Jekyll Island, The Southern Coterie founders, Whitney Long and Cheri Leavy, will bring their talents to Athens, Georgia this summer and Nashville, Tennessee in the fall for smaller scale events dubbed the Summit Series.
The Inaugural Southern C Summit, held on Jekyll Island May 1-3, 2013 brought together the best of southern brands, bloggers, businesses and an assortment of Southern creatives to collaborate, create and innovate. The Summit included educational sessions led by Southern Living editors, panel discussions with branding and marketing experts, keynote presentations from lively southern personalities and conversations with top bloggers. Attendees walked away with the tools to develop a business plan and inspiration to successfully expand on a personal and professional level.
The next retreat of the Summit Series will be held in Athens, Georgia on August 1, 2013 in celebration of food and music.
