The Colorado Center for Nursing Excellence is offering a one day workshop for CNAs in geriatric care through funding from the Geriatric Workforce Enhancement Program (GWEP). The program helps prepare health care providers to meet the needs of the aging US population and ensure improved health results for older adults.

Workshop topics will include:

•Normal aging

•Recognition and prevention of elder abuse

•Addressing dementia behaviors

•Interprofessional team, grit, and open mindset
