Orientation for New Directors

Are you a new or new-ish director (executive, associate, and program level?) Directors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and dual/tri survivor programs are invited to this orientation.

We will provide: Coffee, light lunch, and magic pills of courage.

This will be an opportunity to meet with peers in a supportive environment. Topics may include (depending on input from attendees):

• making sense of all the acronyms (WAC, OVW, BTx, oh my);
• history of the movement and future of services; getting help from the coalitions and from peers;
• becoming a new director;
• funding streams;
• and trauma, leadership, and the brain.

Most importantly, bring your questions and snacks to share.

Facilitators: Judy Chen, WSCADV Director of Strategic Initiatives, and special guest Jennifer Levy-Peck, WCSAP Program Management Specialist.
