Contribute your most delicious cake, casserole. Can you get up on a ladder? Donate a morning of home repairs. Have a green thumb? Donate a morning of landscaping. No time to cook or make something? Collards Cook-Off: It's the perfect time of year for a southern favorite. Enter your own secret or somewhat famous recipe or just sample what others have brought. Volunteers are needed to serve as judges. The Collard King or Queen will receive a gift certificate as a prize.
BBQ Plates & Homemade Desserts: Fresh farm-raised pigs will be used to make delicious homemade barbecue for a meal you won't forget. Plates include: BBQ, cornbread, boiled potatoes, slaw, baked beans, and beverage. $10/plate (ages 6 and up). Kid's option (younger than 6) is a hot dog plate for $3, which comes with chips, cookie, and juice. Reservations are required by 1/16/18. Payment will be collected at the door. Homemade desserts sold for an additional $1/slice.
Entertainment: Enjoy live music, including a special appearance by "The Beatles," cake walk, and fellowship with friends.
