St. Joseph's Estate Planning Workshop

It is never too early to start planning for your retirement and beyond.  As our finances become more complex, it is helpful to have the advice of professionals when considering wills, estate planning, medical care, and power of attorney.

On Tuesday, September 30th, a generous group of parishioners, with estate planning expertise, will make themselves available to help with your estate planning.  This Estate Planning "seminar" will be held at 2:30 pm and repeated at 7:30 pm.

Different events and times of life cause us to think about what our “legacy” is going to be when we pass from this world into eternity.  As Christian disciples, we trust that our faith in Lord’s mercy will lead us to eternal life with him in heaven.  At the same time, we want to be sure that what is important to us in this world will endure when the time comes to pass into eternal life.  It is natural for us to wrestle with questions like:

  • Will medical care be prescribed as I hope?
  • Will my loved ones, especially my dependents, receive the consideration they require?
  • Who will make critical decisions for me and my family if I am not able?
  • Will my hopes for what I leave behind be honored?

It is important to plan while we can to have satisfactory answers to these weighty questions.  Estate planning can be extremely complex, requiring the help of professionals.

This seminar is being offered at no cost to participants.

Presenters:  Tom Munninghoff, Brian Rieger, Elizabeth Reeder

This is an informational seminar only.  There will not be any solicitations.
