Tracking Your Businenss Using Spreadsheets

• How best to use spreadsheets to manually track essential business transactions
• Understand the need for separating your personal and business transactions for tax and management purposes
• Tips for using bank account downloads to efficiently record and categorize transactions
• Suggestions for deciding when you should consider using accounting software or bookkeeping services as your business matures

Paul Kloster, SCORE volunteer and Principal of PEK Accounting Consulting, started his career in bank lending and this experience has led to  a focus on helping small businesses succeed. He has held accounting management positions for companies in distribution, advertising, and business consulting.
