Workshop Description

How’s your credit and do you understand how it could impact seeing your dream come alive?

Your credit report serves as your financial reference to companies and lenders and can have a significant impact on the options you have when seeking funding for your business. When you apply for business credit, your personal credit will be a major factor into whether you will receive credit and how much you’ll pay for it.

In this workshop we’ll explore the dynamics of credit including credit reporting, personal & business creditworthiness, how credit reporting works, the benefits to small business in credit reporting, the risks from credit scams and, strategies to build or improve your credit!

Join us to learn more about one of the most important areas in seeing your dream of starting a business come alive. This is a great session led by one of our communities business leaders, Ned O'Sullivan from Fidelity Bank.

Presented By: Ned O'Sullivan, Sr. Commercial Credit Analyst, Fidelity Bank

Ned received his Bachelor of Science in Finance with a minors in both accounting and philosophy from North Dakota State University (Fargo, ND) and has been with Fidelity Bank for roughly four years. Ned’s role as a sr. commercial credit analyst includes commercial underwriting of new and existing commercial clients. Ned is involved with RMA (Risk Management Association) MN Young Professionals and graduated from their RMA Commercial Lending Academy in 2019.

Ned loves being a part of a small community bank that invests in locally owned, small businesses in the Twin Cities metro area.  When Ned isn’t working, he enjoys discussing philosophy over a cigar and a whiskey, and spending quality time with this wife and two daughters.
