This intermediate level course is meant for life/health producers who are familiar with the fundamental concepts of disability insurance products. The course is designed as a tool for learning the numerous aspects of employer-sponsored disability solutions. Specifically, it addresses the role of group disability programs (short-term & long-term), as well as individual disability income (DI) products. A series of case studies will demonstrate how these forms of insurance work together to meet specific needs of employers and employees.
