 Join Bike Walk Connecticut and the Upper Housatonic Valley National Heritage Area on Sunday, June 23, 2019 for the Discover Connecticut Bicycle Tour to explore FALLS VILLAGE and surrounding northwest Connecticut towns.

This bicycle ride starts and ends in quaint historic FALLS VILLAGE.  Ride distances of 10, 20, 40 and 47 miles are offered for this event, and riders of all abilities can enjoy the cultural and rural scenery of the nortwest corner of our state.  Depending upon distance, the ride may include historic West Cornwall bridge and the trail along the Housatonic River, Mudge Pond in Sharon, the Twin Lakes region in Salisbury and areas in North Canaan.  The post-ride social includes food and music entertainment

Proceeds benefit Bike Walk Connecticut's state-wide bicycle advocacy and education programs; plus local bike/ped programs in northwest Connecticut.

Details:  The tour starts and ends in Falls Village Center on Main Street.  Check-in begins at 7:30 am and wheels roll at 8:30 am.  

Routes: Choose among 4 scenic route distances.  With 10, 20, 40 and 47-mile options, there's something for all cycling abilities - the recreational rider and the avid cyclist.  The shortest ride is relatively flat (~470 feet elevation) and the longest ride is ~3300 feet of elevation climb.

Registration Fees: Adult registration fee is $50. Youth under age 12 are $20.
