2018 Colorado Land Link Forum

Saturday and Sunday, March 10th - 11th

Saturday, March 10th - 6th Annual Land Link Forum 
Location: May Farms, Byers, CO

 

Audience: All land owners, land seekers and ag. service providers interested in creative solutions to land access and transition.

Colorado Land Link is a program that matches farmers and ranchers seeking land opportunities with landowners or retiring producers that are open to transitioning their land. In addition to this matching service, Land Link serves as a resource clearinghouse for educational and training opportunities, technical resources and networking for technical assistance and support. This year's forum has three focus areas:

1. Strengthen regional and statewide leadership and partnerships
2. Build the capacity of the Land Link Program in the Northeast Region
3. Connect farmers, ranchers and agricultural service providers with tools and resources to support a vibrant agricultural future.

Sunday, March 11th - Vision Course
for Aspiring Urban Farmers
Location: Arapahoe County CSU Extension Office, Centennial, CO
9am-4pm

Guidestone Colorado, in partnership with the Colorado Building Farmers Program, is offering the
Vision Course for Aspiring Farmers who are dreaming about starting an urban farm.  Participants undergo an in-depth exploration of their own vision and the core competencies and resources needed to launch! This course examines current trends, resources, case studies, and stories from experienced farmers while digging into a framework to begin strategic business planning.
