Each year, public school teachers spend upwards of $500 of their own wages on supplies for their classrooms, according to the National Center for Education Statistics.

To help alleviate that burden, local Allstate agencies throughout the greater Stamford, CT area are coming together to host school supply drives in their agencies, incoming kindergartners particpiating in the Summer Start Program.

The school supply drives will occur at participating agencies from August 5 – 13. The most requested items for classrooms can be found here. Please consider stopping by an agency to contribute to the donation drive. Thank you for helping our local educators and kids get ready for a successful school year!
