OSDA and the Mahoning and Stark County Boards of DD invite 30 youth & adults with a disability, along with an ally, to this 3-day Project STIRTM training. Your ally will be trained too and will assist you during the 3 days.
WHAT? You will learn to use tools to help you advocate for yourself, connect with others and gain leadership skills. Your ally will learn how to support you to use the skills. You will learn to:

If you are a resident of a classified poverty county in Ohio (Highland, Adams, Scioto, Gallia, Meigs, Vinton, Athens, Guernsey, or Ashtubula) you qualifty for a reduced rate of $150. That rate covers the training for you and your ally and hotel accomodations (1 room). If you qualify use the code REDUCED when registering for the event. If you are a resident of Stark or Mahoning County, and you sign up for the 1st several spots, your registration fee is covered by the Stark or Mahoning CBDD. If you want to stay overnight, contact the hotel directly to reserve and pay for your sleeping room. Hotel - 1 330-471-8000.
