Is There Life After Death?

Please join us on the third Friday of each month for a series of presentations in which different people tell us about their experience of consciousness after death. These evenings are hosted by Ellie Schamber, who each month invites a guest speaker to talk about his or her own life-after-death experience. Ellie, who has a Ph.D. in Intellectual History from U.C. Berkeley and was a confirmed atheist, discovered during her experience of death that spiritually "everything I had believed and taught was wrong." Now she is committed to spreading the word to as many people as possible that our consciousness continues to live forever
Our guest on July 17th is Mas Sajady

Mas Sajady had two near-death experiences.  He wasMas Sajady a college student working at a warehouse when he had his first brush with death. A moving wall fell and broke his jaw. "I was looking at myself as if I was looking in the mirror…thinking, ‘Wow, that’s a really strange position for my neck…that must really, really hurt.’  But then I realized that I wasn’t feeling any pain, and I thought, ‘Wait, how can I be here and my body be there…Oh, wow…I must not be in that reality any more!’  I wasn’t feeling sad…it was like, ‘Oh, that’s just the next transition. That’s really cool.’

“And then…I turned around and saw my life like watching a movie. And the cool thing was that the ‘movie’ showed every single moment of my life. I was reliving my whole life span in a matter of seconds, or maybe a split second. So the concepts of distance and time totally shifted for me, and I still wonder today: How can I live twenty-some years in a matter of seconds and relive almost every experience within that timeframe? Also, there was a wonderful feeling of joy, peace and love.

“Then I went back to my body and woke up in the hospital. After that incident, I could see much brighter colors and I became more intuitive. I started to feel that everything was perfect, even negative situations. And serendipitous things  would continually appear in my life and help me in any situation.”

Twenty years later, in 2007, Mas and his wife and children went on an inner-tubing trip, and he got sucked into a whirlpool under water for 8-10 minutes. “I ascended into higher realms. I was in a state of bliss and joy that goes way beyond anything we can experience here on earth. There was no time or space. Only eternity.  Everything that was important to me in this physical world -- kids, wife, family, money -- all felt unimportant. It was the most joyous, most loving space…I would go back there in a heartbeat if I could.

“But I returned to my body and woke up. And that’s when I first experienced my special abilities.” Mas found that he can get images of people like an MRI scan, along with information about their life story and their health. In meditation, he receives wisdom and knowledge about why we’re here and what our purpose is.  Also, he learned that he has the ability to heal people physically, psychologically and spiritually by changing their frequency. Mas will demonstrate his healing abilities after he talks about his experiences on the other side.

This past February, Michele Cardona of Pleasanton went to see Mas Sajady at the Presidio.  She was in continuous pain, and could walk only with the assistance of a walker. She had endured “every treatment you can think of.”

As Mas moved about the room, he reached her and immediately put his hand on her spine -- although she had never mentioned the physical area of her pain. She says she felt a surge. Her pain decreased.

Inspired by her improvement, Michele saw Mas several times after that. She reports, “I don’t have that pain in my disc anymore -- that’s gone, that 25-year-long pain that was like knives in me. I don’t need any cane, any walker, anything. For me, it’s been life-changing.”

______________

Dawnielle Deveraux of Marin had a severe motorcycle accident in 1999 and was in surgery for seven hours. She had herniated disks and dislocated vertebra in her neck and lower back, and had trouble walking. "The pain in my lower back was so great that I had been crawling from the bedroom to the kitchen."

Danielle also went to see Mas Sajady in February in San Francisco. She asked him a question that was not related to her illness. He came over and touched her upper chest, “and then my body felt like a piece of spaghetti. I bent over and touched my hands to the floor, which I had not been able to do since my accident. After I went home, within 29 hours my pain was completely gone for the first time since 1999. I am still pain free today. It’s a miracle!”

After the presentation there will be a question-and-answer period, and you are welcome to ask anything about "why" or "how." For example, some people ask why there is suffering in the world. The answers sometimes seem to come from a place that transcends the personal experiences of the speakers and speak directly to your deepest yearnings to understand why we are here.
