Motivational Interviewing is an evidence based practice. It is defined as a collaborative, person-centered form of guiding to elicit and strengthen motivation for change. This training uses an interactive, multimedia approach to understanding how to use motivational interviewing strategies.
Upon completion of this course, you will gain additional skills and knowledge to apply Motivational Interviewing techniques when providing client care.
Please note that COVID-19 protocols for healthcare settings at the time of the training must be followed. This may include: Wearing a medical mask over nose and mouth; 6 ft. social distance as much as possible. Please DO NOT ATTEND IF: You are experiencing any health symptoms; you have been directed to quarantine or self-isolate due to exposure; you have recently tested positive for COVID-19.
