You are joyfully invited to our Third Annual Earth Day Celebration at The Lily Pond Sanctuary!

4:00-5:00pm: Interactive nature-based program for adults and a supervised craft table for kids

5:00-6:00pm: Sanctuary Tour to meet the animals.

6:00-8:00pm: Cocktails and a delicious vegetarian farm-to-table dinner with live jazz music. There will be fun raffle items and wish lanterns to float on the pond at sunset.

Come welcome Spring while supporting the animals and the Earth!

AGENDA

4:00 - 5:00pm Optional Nature-Based Program for Adults AND Supervised Kids' Craft Table

Adults participate in the collaborative creation of a flower mandala on the land, offering blessings for the Earth and all sentient beings. We will also create a Bouquet of Rememberance to honor those departed.

Children are invited to spend the hour creating nature-based crafts. The Kids Craft Table is supervised and kids can take home their projects!

TRAVEL INFORMATION

The Lily Pond sanctuary is located in the heart of farm country in New York's Hudson Valley. We are a 2.5 hour drive from Manhattan via the beautiful Taconic Parkway. If arriving from Manhattan by train, the Amtrak Empire line runs regular trips from New York's Penn Station to the Hudson station. We can assist with car service from and to the train station.

The nearest airport is Albany International (ALB), which is a 45 minute drive to the sanctuary. An alternative is Bradley International Airport in Hartford, CT, which is a 1.5 hour drive to the sanctuary.
