Please join ClearWater at the Rupert Cave property in Mifflin County June 29 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
This 38-acre parcel, ClearWater's newest conservation easement property, holds forest, wetland and stream habitats, plus a view.
We will enjoy a casual day at the property including bring-your-own brown bag lunch and guided, educational walks, plus explore on your own or play in the stream to cool off. The event will include information about, but not access to, the 7,000 foot-long cave that runs under the property.
This is a free, public, all-ages event.
Registration is required. Directions to the property (which is private, and open to us only as guests of the owners) will be available only to registered attendees. The directions will be emailed the week prior to the event. Rupert Cave is about a 45-minute drive from State College.
Things you may want to bring: Lunch, water, binoculars and chairs.
Please dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes for walking.
