Seminar on Ports and Seafarers' Welfare

Time in port can be welcome respite for seafarers who have been at sea for long periods of time, but access to welfare services - such as free WiFi - isn’t always straightforward.

ISWAN is holding a day of interactive discussions to explore some of the common challenges seafarers face in port and to look at effective strategies to overcome them. The event aims to highlight best practice from ports, shipping companies, and welfare workers and to emphasise the importance of cooperation in protecting the welfare of seafarers in port.
