Webinar: Introduction to Supported Employment

Supported employment has been evolving, especially in the Northwest, for close to forty years!

This course will begin by providing basic historical and current-day explanations of supported employment practices across the Pacific Northwest and the United States.

We will highlight the changing roles and responsibilities of stakeholders within the supported employment movement, as well as basic value principles such as people first language and self –determination.

The course will also introduce you to examples of the specific components that make up supported employment.

We will finish by providing you with additional resources to find more information.
