Family Training Series: Dreaming and Planning for the Future
Making a Plan
This meeting will focus on taking our hopes and dreams for our child's life and begin to make them into a plan. What is needed? Where do I go next?
We'll work through the following considerations to look at what we have and what we need to work on to make our dreamsfor the future into a solid, workable plan.
- What skills does your student have, and what skills need to be developed?
- What resources do you have, and what resources do you need to find?
- What kind of supports are already in place, and what other types of supports would you like to try?
The students will work on their own personal profiles, a sort of "pre-resume" as well as some other activies.
