2019-2020 Employment Professional Certificate Program

We are pleased to announce another year of the Employment Professional Certificate Program being offered through Highline College for those working in the Puget Sound, WA area!

A 9-month certification course designed to increase the competence of employment professionals, the Employment Professional Certificate Program provides supported employment professionals an opportunity  to increase their knowledge through comprehensive systematic training.

Details:

• Classes are every Friday from 9:00am to 2:00pm
• Fall, Winter, and Spring Quarters
• 5 credits per quarter, credits are transferrable
• Tuition is $2,800.00 for all 3 quarters
• Limited to 22 students
• Registration closes September 6th, 2019

The goals of the progam are:

• Increase the competence of employment professionals.
• Develop a network of future leaders in supported employment.
• Provide staff an opportunity for relationship building and networking.
• Expand resources for employment professionals to increase their knowledge through predictable systematic training.
• Embed supported employment training within the generic community college system.
• Expand employment opportunities for people with developmental disabilities.
