A Conversation on Employment

Join us for a conversation on Employment at Spokane's South Hill Library. A time for talking about employment and networking with Wise Executive Director Cesilee Coulson.

Refreshments and light appetizers provided.

Talking points will include:

  • Updates on the National Employment Landscape
  • Updates on the State of Washington
  • Attendees will share local experiences, successes, and possibilities for 2020

 


Cesilee Coulson, Wise Executive Director
Cesilee Coulson is the Executive Director of the Washington Initiative for Supported Employment; Wise. She brings 22 years of experience in competitive integrated employment training and technical assistance to her position. Cesilee uses her experience to assist with organizational transformation, employment systems change and community employment capacity building. She designs and manages local, statewide and national projects to increase employment opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Cesilee holds a master’s degree from the University of Oregon in Sports Psychology, an Executive Coaching certification from the Hudson Institute and a Somatic Coaching certification from the Strozzi Institute. She most recently was selected to serve on the Department of Labor’s Advisory Committee on Increasing Competitive Integrated Employment for People with Disabilities which issued a report to Congress in September of 2016 on strategies for implementing the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). Currently, Cesilee is serving as the employment committee chair for National TASH and as the incoming president elect for the Community Employment Alliance.
