Exclusive Red Carpet Premiere of
I AM A GIRL
Girl Be Heard's Amplifiers invites you to the red carpet premiere of the documentary film I AM A GIRL, featuring the real stories of six girls from around the world. Representing the U.S. is Girl Be Heard Company Member and rapper Breani Michele. Director Rebecca Barry will join us from Australia to speak about the film and the girls she met. The premiere will include light refreshments and a Girl Be Heard performance led by Breani.
Girl Be Heard is proud to debut an education curriculum for teachers to use in tandem with the film. This curriculum will accompany film screenings in schools and communities to help educators open up dialogue and engage students to explore critical human rights issues in the film.
Girl Be Heard Amplifiers (our young professional committee) is pioneering this event and Bow Tie Cinemas is generously hosting this premiere.
