Child Welfare League of Canada Member Events 

The Child Welfare League of Canada (CWLC) is hositng two events in St. John's, Newfoundland on June 20 & 21, 2013. These events are geared for leaders in the fields of child welfare, child and youth mental health and youth justice in Atlantic Canada.

Throughout the year, CWLC holds events across the country with an aim to bring together individuals dedicated to improving services to children and families in Canada. These are networking opportunities that foster rich discussions and valuable knowledge exchange.

Event #1: Special Networking Reception on Thursday, June 20th, 5-7 PM 

Event #2: Knowledge Exchange on "Continuum of Care in Newfoundland & Labrador" on Friday, June 21st, 9 AM - 12 PM

We invite you to both of these events. Please come and:

• Meet the CWLC Board, composed of thought leaders from all provinces and territories
• Network with CWLC members from Atlantic Canada
• Join other organizations vested in advancing the causes of at-risk children in Canada

• Youth guest speaker: Brandon, "Experiences of being in care"
• Entertainment by local throat singers Jennie Williams & Tama Fost.
