Program Objectives:  

• Participants will be able to define toxic stress and its effect on the developing brain.  
• To raise awareness about the relationship between exposure to Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and toxic stress.    
• Participants will be able to recognize that a child's challenging or atypical behavior may be the result of trauma or adverse experiences.     
• To explore partnerships between those in primary care and those in early childhood to identify and address adverse childhood experiences     
• Participants will hear from a panel of professionals about what is available in CT to increase resilience and protective factors, including strengthening all relationships, through a variety of resources.
