Mindfulness Mondays-Zoom Gatherings  

from 12 noon- 12:45pm, every Monday

beginning April 5-August 2, 2021

You are not alone! Join with others who are also in a helping profession (Infant/toddler/preschool teachers, social workers, clinicians, early interventionists, home visitors, nurses, supervisors, etc.) to sit, stand or use movement to experience  moments of calm, reduce your stress, and find joy with others in your community. Try one session or attend them all, there are no restrictions.  All are welcome!

What is Mindfulness? Mindfulness can be described as,  “The awareness cultivated by paying attention, ...on purpose, in the present moment, and nonjudgmentally.”  -Jon Kabat-Zinn


 

Mindfulness Mondays

 Gathering Ground rules:

Start with a moment of mediation/reflection

Raise hand to talk or request to talk using "chat"

Arrive in or leave meeting as needed

End with a moment of meditation/reflection

Finding Moments of Mindfulness, Celebration, and Self-care 

1.  Welcome and Opening Moment of Mindfulness

2. Videos, articles and mindfulness moments- featuring Palouse Mindfulness and Mindfulness Daily  

3. Possible moments of movement, art, poetry, or creativity

4. Potpourri sharing of the joy, hope, gratitude, ideas, creativity, new perspectives (including working through challenges), and new learning that have resulted from this experience  

5. At any time, please add in the chat, how CT-AIMH can support you

6. Closing Moment of Mindfulness
