The Pike Road Ag & Stewardship Club is celebrating Alabama Arbor Week with an Alabama Native Trees workshop on Feb. 26. Learning how to identify native trees for your yard is vital to preserving an areas biodiversity and ensuring that your landscape dreams have the best chance of becoming reality. During this presentation, we will discuss:
- The importance of Alabama native trees to our local ecosystem
- Native tree options to consider for your residential property
- Invasive tree species to avoid.
