Enabling the Blue Economy:      Stories & Case Studies 

MEDC will be holding its 2017 Fall Conference at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI), the world's leading independent, nonprofit organization dedicated to ocean research, exploration and education.

 

The event program is focused on the Blue Economy Project, a regional initiative to promote and sustain  a maritime focused economy on Cape Cod, the islands and southeastern MA, and funded through a grant from the Baker-Polito Administration's Seaport Economic Council.

The conference will be held at WHOI's Clark Building on its Quissett Campus and hosted by the WHOI Center for Marine Robotics.  An optional tour of WHOI's Ocean Observing Initiative adjacent to the meeting location will immediately follow the program's conclusion (around 1:30pm).
