How Small Businesses Obtain and Use Credit

Jacquelyn will help you to understand the importance of creditworthyness and will describe how to maintain a good business credit score. Then she will  define the different forms of credit that businesses can use.

   Speaker: Jacquelyn Tomlinson
Jacquelyn  is an assistant vice president in the corporate banking area of Frost in Austin. As a lender for area businesses, nonprofits and other organizations, Jacquelyn helps those organizations gain access to lending and other banking products and services that they need to survive and thrive in today’s marketplace. She began her professional career in management consulting and worked on projects for energy companies in Chicago, San Antonio, and throughout the Central Texas and Gulf Coast regions. In 2017, she made a career shift to commercial banking when she joined Frost as a credit analyst. For two years, she helped other lending professionals on the commercial and industrial lending team underwrite credit packages. During this time, she gained a better understanding of business financials and the various ways companies can use credit to grow. Today, she draws on that accumulated knowledge and experience to build relationships in the community and help local businesses meet new challenges and exploit new opportunities.
