Starting a Business Successfully

What are the myths and realities of entrepreneurship? How do you plan for success? This workshop will introduce you to the world of small business and guide you to prepare for being a business owner.

Willis will help you explore what it takes to be an entrepreneur, how to develop a business concept, and how to plan for becoming a business owner. He will explain your choices for owning a business and guide you to get the help you need to succeed including use of library resources for market research.

Franchises as an option for business ownership will be addressed by Kyle DeHaas.

Speakers: Willis Wolf & Kyle DeHaas

Willis is a SCORE volunteer and mentor who started several small businesses including medical business software. Also, he bought several existing businesses that he operated, fixed their problems, and sold to competitors or investors.

Kyle is currently with FranNet and brings years of experience as a small business owner.
