The course tuition is refundable, minus a $10 processing fee, if your cancellation is received in writing no later than June 1, 2019.

Attendee substitutions are permitted, but notification must be made in writing by  June 1, 2019. After this date, under no circumstances will refunds, credits, or substitutions be granted. No refunds or credits will be given to "no shows".

Purpose/Goals

We are excited about the growth that the Brain Injury Symposium of Mid-Michigan has experienced over the past 12 years and are thrilled to welcome you to this year’s event.

Attendees will leave this event excited about the important work that they do, and with more knowledge about brain injury rehabilitation. We have a wonderful lineup of industry experts who are prepared to enhance attendees understanding on a variety of topics geared towards professionals in healthcare, rehabilitation, and other health related service industries.

At the conclusion of this program, participants will be able to identify…

  • Ways to encourage brain injury survivors to build confidence through successful endeavors
  • The benefits and application of Neuro-Visual Rehabilitation within an interdisciplinary team
  • The relationship between sustaining a brain injury and developing dementia
  • Intimacy concerns post brain injury, strategies that can assist, and the role each team member plays in facilitating healthy and safe sexual behaviors
  • Practical strategies to change eating habits to support brain health and healing
