Dr. Victoria Keyser is a licensed psychologist and registered play therapist. She is the founder and director of Youtherapy Psychological Services, a nonprofit child and family mental health center in LaVerne. She is also an adjunct professor at the University of La Verne and volunteer therapist for Comfort Zone Camps.
Dr. Nicole Kezos is a clinical psychologist and a member of the Association for Play Therapy. She provides services at Youtherapy Psychological Services, a non-profit community mental health agency located inthe city of La Verne, CA. As a therapist and supervisor of graduate student interns, Dr. Kezos specializes in play therapy and incorporating expressive interventions with children and adolescents.

Workshop Description
Participants will be introduced to the basic concepts of Adlerian Play Therapy (AdPt) to include therole of the therapist, goals of treatment, and the basic principles of Adlerian Psychology. Also presentedwill be the use of developmentally appropriate play therapy activities for each of the four phases ofAdPT. AdPt techniques will be applied to group and parent sessions.

Audience Pre-Requisites: Working knowledge of the fundamental principles of play therapy, play therapy theories, and play therapy applications.

Continuing Education This workshop meets the qualifications for 6 hours of continuing education credit per day for Psychologists, MFTs & LCSWs and LPCC's. The California Association for Play Therapy (CALAPT) is approved by the Association for Play Therapy to offer continuing education specific to play therapy (APT Approved Provider # 00-094). The California Association for Play Therapy is approved by the American Psychological Association (APA) to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. Psychologists may receive 6 hours of continuing education credit for this workshop.The California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) now recognizes APA continuing education credit for license renewal for LCSWs, MFTs and LPCCs The California Association for Play Therapy maintains responsibility for this program and its contents. NO CREDIT FOR PARTIAL ATTENDANCE.
Cancellations and Refunds
Requests for refunds must be made in writing to the CALAPT, P.O. Box 12404, Newport Beach, CA 92658 or by e-mail: calapt@calplaytherapy.org. Requests must be postmarked two weeks prior to workshop date in order to receive refund. There is a $25.00 administrative fee for refunds. No refunds for cancellations after the deadline. There are no price breaks for partial attendance.
