Welcome Auma Obama - sister of President Barack Obama - with a great party celebrating the release of her new book, And Then Life Happens. The evening's proceeds will fund a water well at Auma's Sauti Kuu Youth Center in Kogelo, Kenya.

Your $25 ticket includes beverages by Tito's Vodka, Shiner Beer and Becker Vineyards, with appetizers by Word of Mouth catering.  With music by Austin jazz greats Eddy Hobizal and Jeff Lofton.

Born and raised in Kenya, Auma Obama has worked the past five years with CARE International, and  is the founder of the youth empowerment foundation, Sauti Kuu (Kiswahili for ‘Powerful Voices’).
