Nikki is the director of Daystar Education, Inc, which she founded in 1984.She has been an Adjunct Faculty member at PCC in the Alcohol and Drug Counselor program also since that time.

Her work in Professional Ethics has included developing PCC’s Ethics course and Daystar’s equivalent. She has been on ACCBO’s Ethics Committee for more than twenty years and chaired the Committee for much of that time. She was recently Honored at the NWASI  for her service to ACCBO (now MHACBO.

Nikki’s concerns about racism are long standing and she developed "Racism as an Ethical Issue" in response to discussions in the Ethics classes.
