History: The Greater Miami Festivals & Events Association (GMFEA) is a not-for-profit corporation representing the broad spectrum of South Florida’s multi-ethnic community. GMFEA is celebrating its 32nd anniversary of supporting its member organizations in maintaining a commitment to producing excellent public celebrations while championing this community’s cultural diversity. Currently, the Association’s membership totals more than 100 festivals and special events groups, public agencies, institutions, and area businesses, with an aggregate annual attendance at their events in excess of 3.5 million.

When: GMFEA’s “Award Winning Events”  conference will take place Wednesday, June 21st, 2017 and it is anticipated that more than 200 of the community’s premier event planners and industry professionals will attend.

Where: The conference will take place at the Milander Center for Arts and Entertainment 4800 Palm Ave, Hialeah, FL 33012

• More than 150 of the areas best event professionals attended.
• Showcased diverse and talented local performers including magicians, jugglers, comedians, dancers, rock/country bands and street performers.
• Speakers and panelists included prominent national event industry leaders.
