This class is about expanding and growing as an actor.  It’s not about gimmicks, audition techniques, it what my face looks like in the mirror or what I look like on video. 
 
Discover your acting range and abilities:
 
You don’t know what your limits are until you’ve passed them. Until you have broken out of the envelope, you have no idea how far you can go and what your tools you have in your bag.  You don’t know where you can go until you’ve been there.  They are not going to test you at an audition.  They are going to cast you as they see you.  So you need to stretch your boundaries to find out what they really are, and to find out what you have to offer.  What you have to work with.  What your tools really are and how to expand those tools.
 
What are your tools and how can you expand those tools:
 
The people who study with Clayton start out asking the big questions; who what where when how.  Once there, they begin to ask the smaller questions and get more detailed, honing the subtle work. It starts off as a class for actors working in a medium close-up, then progresses to  doing the more detailed work for the close up.  He works from the big questions to the smaller, more delicate questions that takes actors deeper into who they are as a person so they have more to offer as an actor.  Actors who work with Clayton feel that excitement of that growth.
