Come to the Bacon Free Library to hear "Lost Boy" Gabriel Bol Deng of South Sudan speak about the power of hope and resiliency!

Though he was forced to leave his country as a child due to war, Mr. Deng has gone on to achieve tremendous success.  He is the founding director of HOPE for Ariang. The mission of HOPE is to promote peace in South Sudan by educating its children and empowering women through economic opportunities.  Gabriel Bol Deng has successfully built a school in his native South Sudan that now educates 500 children, some of whom walk hours a day from surrounding villages.

Mr. Deng will speak about the keys to resiliency and success in adults and young people.  He will focus on the role of personal responsibility, community, family, education and a positive mindset.

Come learn about how your attitude can move mountains!
