A Continuing Education Vacation to South Beach, Florida

Audience: Dentists, Hygienists and Assistants

Oral diseases are dramatized with emphasis on recognition, diagnosis, and treatment with conventional and  non-conventional remedies. A review of common oral lesions will begin the course.  Things you have forgotten since dental school are presented in vivid color.  Pre-malignant and malignant lesions along with new diagnosic  techniques will be introduced.  Lesions seen more ofen as “boomers” get older and “dryer” such as Herpes, Aphthous ulcerations, Candidiasis, erosions and dry mouth will be reviewed with current treatment modalities presented.

SvirskyDr. Svirsky is a board certified oral & maxillofacial pathologist at Virginia Commonwealth University.  In addition to teaching, he has a broad  background in research and has numerous publications.  He has a private practice of oral pathology and oral medicine in Richmond Virginia.  Dr. Svirsky holds a Master’s Degree in adult education.  This lecture program will be presented in Dr. Svirsky’s interactive, entertaining, and often risqué style.  Dr. Svirsky makes oral pathology FUN!
