The Southern Plains Tribal Health Board, the Oklahoma delegation from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Tribal Advisory Committee, and the All of Us Research Program will offer a listening session on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 from 1 – 4 p.m. in Oklahoma City, OK.
The All of Us Research Program, part of NIH, was established to accelerate health research and medical breakthroughs to foster an era of precision medicine for all. Precision medicine is health care that is based on you as an individual. It takes into account factors like where you live, what you do, your genes, and your family health history. The goal of precision medicine is to be able to tell people the best ways to stay healthy and may help health care teams find the treatments that will work best if you get sick.
