Invest in your community, donate to the United Way's C-3 Center! 

The United Way's C-3 Center has an opportunity to receive an additional $5,000 from the Otto Bremer Trust as a challenge match grant. You can be part of this mission by donating today! For every dollar we raise, Otto Bremer Trust will match up to $5,000. This means when you donate, your gift doubles! Funds raised will be used to support direct operations at the C-3 Center.  Any funds raised above $5,000 will be restricted to use for the C-3 Center program.  

At the United Way's C-3 Center, community members who are in need are able to obtain household goods, furniture, clothing, shoes, appliances, hygiene items and more - all for FREE.  

The C-3 Center offers a unique program for our community where United Way can help individuals and families achieve financial stability.  Over the last year, over 400 households (1,500+ people) utilized the C-3 Center's program and 14% of these participants reported that they were homeless during their time visiting. While we tend to serve individuals and families in crisis, our program is available for the whole community, no matter the reason.

The C-3 Center also offers ongoing volunteer opportunities and works with a variety of workforce programs to help community members build employment skills during workforce transition.  A recent volunteer shared "I never had a place I could list as a reference on a job application and I was able to do that for the first time after working wtih the C-3 Center".  

Whether it be providing community members with supplies to improve their daily living or helping match volunteers to a valuable experience, the C-3 Center creates hope and sustainability in our community.  When you invest in the United Way's C-3 Center, you invest in a stronger community!
