FLRSMN Invasive Species Webinar

For educators who are already part of the FLI's stream sampling program, this workshop provides training for our new addition to the Finger Lakes Regional Stream Monitoring Network program: invasive species. This important addition seeks to engage educators and students as early detection citizen scientists for invasive species on our watch list. The webinar is free and open to educators participating in the Finger Lakes Regional Stream Monitroring Network or who have been trained in the FLI stream sampling program.

Educators will receive 1 hour of CTLE credits and will need to complete a brief survey following the webinar.

Itinerary:

4:00 pm Welcome and Introductions

4:05-4:15 pm  Invasive Species Background

4:15-4:45 pm  Stream and Riparian Corridor Invasive Species

4:45-5:00 pm  Early Detection and Reporting Invasive Species

This workshop is FREE and has been made possible by funding from the Finger Lakes Partnership for Regional Invasive Species Management.
