Join us as Girls4Girls goes Gatsby for the First Annual stand up Fashion Show Fundraiser at Performance Works on Granville Island. This event is in honor of celebrating local talent while raising awareness of both local and global initiatives. On February 27th, 2014, guests will step back in time to the 1920's where they will be entertained by local talent and local designers, including looks from Plenty, VCC fashion design students and lead designer Madame Moje. Also featured will be a silent auction, 50/50 draw and delicious treats. While it may be the prohibition era, a little party never hurt nobody, so come ready to enjoy a few drinks from our creatively constructed and Gatsby inspired drink list. A hundred percent of the proceeds will be going to towards the Girls4Girls trip to South Africa this May in helps of supporting the Helderberg Rape Crisis Centre. There, Girls4Girls will be facilitating leadership training for the local women and supporting the documentary film series "Global Sorority".
