Provides entry-level participants the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize, and respond to aquatic emergencies and to provide care for breathing and cardiac emergencies, injuries, and sudden illnesses until EMS personnel take over.
This is a hybrid course including online lecture time as well as in-person skills, scenarios and exam. 2 hours will be hosted online, utilizing video seminars with a live Expedition School instructor, educational videos and a digital course manual. Upon successful completion, students will receive the following certifications, valid for 3 years: American Red Cross Basic Water Rescue. Instructor to student ratio is limited to 1:15.
