Lunch and Learn Oct 2022 Family Feuds Lambeth Style 

As Archbishop Thabo Makgoba of Southern Africa once said, "Family is sometimes messy, yes, but that means we a real family." Approximately every decade since 1867, the bishops of the global family that is the Anglican Communion have come together at the invitation of the Archbishop of Canterbury for fellowship, prayer, Bible study, and honest deliberation about various crucial issues.  

Dr. Robertson, Canon to the Presiding Bishop for Ministry Beyond The Episcopal Church, will explore the three most recent Lambeth Conferences--1998, 2008, and 2022--with stories that show how messy and contentious this global Anglican family can be...and also how marvelous it is when God's grace breaks through the divisions and those who disagree vehemently find themselves together still in common prayer and care.  

When: Wednesdays, beginning Wednesday: October 5th, 12th, & 19th
Time:  12:00 Noon to 1:00 p.m. online via Zoom.
