Registration is open for DSANV's 2012 Individualized Education Program (IEP) seminar!
Join us this September for a two-day seminar on the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), its requirements, your rights, and your role at the IEP (Individualized Education Plan) table.
This seminar is based on a curriculum developed for the office of Special Education Programs at the US Department of Education.
We will cover:
- Top Ten Basics of Special Education
- Introduction to Procedural Safeguards
- Evaluating Children for Disability
- The IEP: members, components, meetings, LRE decision making
- Universal Design and NIMAS
